Brushed Flannel Heritage Shirt
Description. A weekend classic, crafted for comfort. Our Black Watch flannel is woven from ultra-soft brushed cotton for that lived-in feel from the first wear. Mid-weight for warmth but not bulk and finished with our signature single-flap pocket.
About the pattern: The Black Watch tartan, associated with the British infantry regiment of the same name, was worn first in 1725 by the six "watch" companies that once patrolled the Highlands. The Black Watch, as they would come to be known, were employed to rid the Highlands of criminals, rebels, and infighting clans.
Sizing. Runs slim. Consider ordering a size up for a more relaxed fit. Ian is 6'2 / size 40 chest and wearing size Medium.
Care Guide. Wash on delicate cycle in cold water. For best mileage, hang dry, but if in a pinch tumble dry on the lowest heat setting. Warm iron as needed.
